You know what you’re getting with HI Express
I chose the Holiday Inn Express as you know what to expect and it’s functional. Lots of good points - air con, quiet, clean, amenities, variety of food for breakfast. Only a few minor issues - toilet roll holder kept falling apart, a ceiling spotlight cover in bathroom fell off randomly, shower tray VERY slippery, shower water temp kept changing, electric desk fan very dirty. Left towel on rail rather than floor as instructed as I was happy to use it again but it was replaced with a clean towel anyway. I’m nit-picking and would happily stay there again.
