We love it when we pick the right hotel.
We left Liverpool 25 years ago, and rarely get to spend much time visiting. We wanted to treat ourselves to a really nice hotel. The Titanic was amazing. I know some people thought it was too far out of the city centre - it only took our taxi driver 10 mins. We didn't walk anywhere, but we would estimate 20 to 30 minutes back to the Albert Dock. However, the hotel was so lovely, that we were happy to spend the entire evening eating and drinking in the bar and restaurant. And our bedroom - well, I could easily live there full time. Walking into the bathroom was a WOW moment. It was massive. 2 sinks, large bath, toilet and a very large walk in shower. Plenty of towels and of course what every hotel of this class should have, was toiletries, face clothes, shower hats, slippers, bottled water, and tea and coffee making facilities. All the little touches that spell class. The bed was so comfortable, and our room also had a large leather couch and armchair to sit and watch tv without lying on the bed.

Nice hotel, Spa fully booked, restaurant fully booked, taxi wait for 45 mins.. adjoining room walls, paper thin, full of kids having room parties, breakfast not included & £36 per couple.

Definitley recommend
Hotel is amazing. Fantastic building with heritage. Rooms are massive and well specced. Only disappointment was that we were unable to use the spa because of restricted numbers due to Covid but other than that it was superb

Poor 2.0
Poor all round
The first room had sick on the floor and stank. Then they sent house keeping to make sure we weren’t lying. And then they moved us room. But the walls were paper thin and we could here the room next doors conversation until 2 AM. And the spa is a rip off for £30 extra!
