Night in Edinburgh
Nice place to stay, great location. Clean and friendly. Quite thin walls as we could hear the guests next door shutting doors and moving around but it did not upset us just maybe a customer who wants silence in their room. Would stay again.

Cocktial festival stay
Triple room was nice ,clean+ comfortable. All three of us enjoyed our stay and will probably use this hotel again next year there is a bus stop very close to the door step and all the buses run to the city center and were every 10mins or so. The only thing a could possably say as a negative was that the bathroom tap needed tightened to the sink. I 100% recomend this hotel . Cheap and cheerful

Fair 4.0
A bit disappointing.
Room way too small for four people. It was on top floor over looking a major road into the city. Window broken and would not shut properly so it was very noisy! Please note for people with small children, the window opens very wide and only restricted by a small chain which could easily be in-chained by a child standing on their bed. Shower in room.... a mere trickle! However on the plus side, beds comfortable and great location. Bus stop outside and could get a bus straight into the high street/castle etc. Parking in the car park really good.

A poor excuse for a hotel
Really disappointing. Arrived to be greeted by what looks like a makeshift reception desk parked in front of two bedroom doors. The desk wasn't staffed, so I rang the bell, which didn't work, and then five minutes later the man I heard shouting behind one of the bedroom doors appeared, asked for my name, handed me a key and told me my room was on the 2nd floor. That was the limit of the customer service I saw. On the facade, the hotel looks like a grand old building. Inside, it feels like a makeshift hotel where every expense has been spared. Cheap wooden doors on the rooms, little sound proofing between rooms, gaps round the door, a shower cubicle I struggled to fit into, and overall a poor experience.

Average for the money
Made to feel welcome, continental breakfast basic but adequate, room size perfect for 3, but bathroom light and shower both extremely noisy making it difficult to use the bathroom when 3 year old in bed! Bathroom floor could use some repair (room 7) Wifi was also a bit hit and miss which we paid extra for.
