Staff were very friendly Room was good value for money nice clean linen and towels but the bathroom could have been cleaner- around the taps and hinge's of the toilet was grimy. Sink wasn’t clean Breakfast could be improved with small measures , another toaster- constant queue. Plain yoghurt and nice tinned fruit - grapefruit/ prunes If not providing pots of tea or coffee you need mugs not the very small cups which need filling every couple of minutes and a jug of milk on the table for tea/coffee You have a lovely patio and garden area but it looks very unloved.

4/10 Fair

We had two reservations at this property (in between travel from England to Ireland). First stay was fine. Hotel nice, but be advised the rooms are very small. Not sure what angle they took pics at, but they are deceiving. Our first stay the hotel was catering to a large tour bus group of mostly elderly individuals. After our first stay, we traveled to Ireland for a week and there my husband fell ill. Because of the very small nature of the hotel, and because there were many elderly individuals staying there on our first visit, we called (admittedly the day of) to cancel our reservation so as not to expose people to sickness (since there really is no place to social distance at the St. Andrews). We were charged the entire night stay anyway. I understand them having to recoup costs for a late cancellation...but it seems like in this case, for the protection of their customers, they may give us a little break. Nope. St Andrews is the poster child for the phrase 'no good deed goes unpunished'.

Tired and in need of some love

Out of the four rooms our party booked only two ended up being available, one couple were thankfully told six weeks before, the other only found out in the day when they rang to confirm a late check in. The hotel itself is very, very tired and in serious need of upgrading. Our room was very small with only a 1.5 bed not a double. The shower was little more than a trickle which was severely impacted by water being run elsewhere. Breakfast was more than disappointing; anemic sausages, limp bacon, no eggs, cheap bread. It served a purpose as a bed for the night after a wedding but I would have rather spent £40 more and starteyd at the Holiday Inn down the road.

Good hotel - would definitely use again if in the area. Polite staff, quiet area, comfy bed, power shower - that's all I needed and that's what I got! Good value for money too.

Great base for exploring!

Lovely staff who couldn’t have been more helpful, especially when I left my glasses there and they promptly posted them back to me at no charge! Very comfortable room and we all slept well. Nice bar area and a nice town in general. Would recommend St Andrews as a base to do that. Oh, and very tasty breakfast!

Plenty of potential but .....

At check-in we went to 4 rooms before finding one with a king sized double as booked. The bath room had black mould in the bath sealant and the basin overflow was very dirty. The whole hotel lacked atmosphere. Breakfast was like being in a church being in a large high room. A bit of background music would have helped. That said, the staff were helpful and friendly and dud the best they could with what they had available to them.

My partner and I had provisionally booked a double room for last Saturday night, 5th August, and then we decided we would add the following night to our stay, at short notice. The Operations Director and his team at the desk were very kind, understanding and caring, and nothing seemed too much trouble for them to ensure we could stay the Sunday night in exceptional circumstances. Our room was spotlessly clean, as were the general areas of the hotel, and the staff very attentive. The location was just right for our visit to Worcester and the surrounding area. We will book again at the St Andrew's Hotel in Droitwich when we next visit the area, and highly recommend the hotel.

This was my first stay at St Andrews Town Hotel and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very helpful staff loaned me an umbrella as I had accidentally left my coat at home. My single room was well furnished and comfortable. I really loved the food and can highly recommend the chicken supreme. I am expecting to be in the area again next year and my first choice for hotel will be St Andrews.
