Disappointing but location is excellent.
We were disappointed with this hotel, while the rooms were clean, had all the basics & a very comfortable bed, we found for the expensive price to not even have a bottle of water in the room to be disappointing. The location of the hotel is excellent. The room keys also caused some difficultly as they did not work after we checked in & we had to go back to reception to have it sorted out which took quite some time & the same situation again when we returned the following night after an evening out, we had to go back to reception to get the key sorted again before we could access our room. The breakfast was somewhat average.

The bedroom was extremely cold with the air conditioning only making noise! The breakfast serving staff member was very rude, totally disappointed with the Hotel especially with the cost of the stay.

The bathroom needed some TLC. Towel rail was off the wall, shower head not brilliant, towel was dirty. A shame in very quite times, they actually have to even charge for overnight parking, especially as I didn’t arrive until 9pm and then was gone at breakfast again.

I found an old used facemask(Liverpool European Champions design, I'm a Blue!) Down the side of my bed and several long grey hairs on the carpet. The bathroom had one bathrobe, not enough toiletries. There was no main light in the room and no easy access socket on one side of bed. The dressing table light did not work and we only had one swipe key, so when wife went shopping and I had s bath, I had to get out of bath to let her in. Reception would give us another key. The hotel decor was "Tired" and in need of a revamp after 13-14 years built. View was to die for. But nothing special. Disappointed. Staff were lovely. Food was nice. Not impressed with breakfast and poor communications over "Staying or leaving" instructions for Covid. So we checked out.
