You get what you pay.
Not so good experience with this hotel. For over a week Hotels.com tried to reach the hotel to make a change to my reservation with no sucess, no one is picking up the phones, even when they answer they dont have anyone with authority to make changes. Check in process was smoth and easy. Hotel location is awesome as everywhere is within walking distance, boat stop is couple min walk. This hotel is very very old, 2020 and they are still using old physical keys for rooms! They gave us a room in 5th floor, elevator only goes to 4th floor, so we had to take the stairs with our luggage for one more floor. Brekfast was provided for free with multiple selection, nothing fancy it was typical hotel breakfast but we liked it because it was provided for free! Wifi was fast for our use no complaint here. Unless this hotel goes to whole refurbishment we will not stay here. You get what you pay.

Acqua Alta
The hotel was great. Unfortunately, Venice was a mess due to Acqua Alta. It was sad to see such a beautiful city in such distress.

The reception team was not helpfull. And also they did not tell us the hotels details(room service, receptions number, checkout details). We did not have any water in our room and could not reach the reception. We needed to go downstairs latenight to get water.

Beautiful room, friendly staffs and great service
My family and I are staying here for 2 nights it’s just 2 minutes walked from San Marco Square and 3-5 minutes from the water taxi port. The hotel is newly renovated and cleaned, the staffs are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is superb and it’s right close to everything. Our room is beautiful and spacious, but the we had to go up on a staircase because the elevator only goes to a 4 floors, but that’s okay for us, because my husband and son can carry our luggage to our room. We like the on the 5th floors because it’s very private. We stayed here in the middle of April 2019

TERRIBLE SERVICE
I travel a lot internationally and this was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. Venice is a bit of a tourist trap, so you want to make sure you pick a good/comfortable hotel. Probably the only plus is the location, which is excellent! - RUDE RECEPTIONISTS: We stayed there for 4 nights and overall, the receptionists were very rude (with the exception of one receptionist). I have to say that the cleaning and kitchen staff were quite friendly and nice. - Hotel management seems fraudulent. When asked to pay the city tax at checkout, the receptionist told us that the hotel does not accept credit card payments. Only after some argument we found out that they actually do have the setup for cc payments, but they charge 10% for non-cash payments. - Carpets were stained. - The hotel does not have iron. At least, that is what we were told initially with some silly excuse about safety. We later found out from another receptionist that they only have one iron that is currently used. Then the iron went missing on the following days. All seemed very shady and the staff were impolite in communicating it. - The luggage that you leave with the front desk after checkout is just placed in open areas next to the elevator. I felt bad for the guests who had trusted the staff with their stuff to explore the city for a couple of more hours.

Great value for money
Great value for money, very clean hotel, all staff friendly except lady checking us out on 6th June, very rude when we wen to collect our bag. Location is perfect and each to get to from the airport, few minutes walk from San Marco water taxi stop. Rooms are very clean and a good size, excellent value for money. Breakfast was nice, good selection and fresh, friendly staff.
