Very dated which isn’t an issue however the room smelt of sewerage which was coming from the bathroom and the bathroom was unbearable with the smell. Room was right next to the breakfast room so was awoken by guests going to breakfast due to small space and walls very thin.

The general impression was good. The hotel was in a great location and the staff were so sweet, they even offered to hold our bags for the whole day after checkout. The only thing i didn’t like was that the walls were so thin that you could hear every single step from the people upstairs and on the sides and it made it impossible to rest. Also since its so close to the train station the whole room vibrated with every single train

This is a hidden gem and the staff was extra generous and helpful to me in a tough situation, although beware that there is no entry after dark or very late check-ins as this is more of a family hotel. Staff were so attentive and absolutely lovely, can’t fault service at all. Only criticism is that the pillows were yellow - overall cleanliness was pretty good. The trains (tube below) were quite loud. Could use some TLC but a pleasant stay nonetheless. Can’t reiterate enough that the staff were so lovely and provided an excellent service.

The room is tiny, shower drain is not working properly. The sink is half the size of a regular sink, when you turn on the water it sprays everywhere. The basement room is right above subway and you hear the loud train every 5 minutes, forget about sleeping. The door lock is barely functional. I took a walk and came back found my door was open by someone! Luckily nothing was stolen.
