Great location for any type of stay
+The hotel was in a great location very easy to reach by public transportation. The room was getting cleaned on a daily basis and we were receiving complementary water and cookies which was very pleasant. - We had to use constantly the A/C to remain warm which especially in the night wasn't great and we had no chance to open the windows to refresh the air. Public spaces especially the corridors leading to rooms where a bit chaotic and could be better maintained/ cleaned.

This was a very solid option near transit, restaurants, shopping and main attractions. The deal I got made this an incredible value and it was near perfect for a solo or even two travelers for the smaller rooms. I could probably nitpick at small things but it would be unfair. I was particularly happy to see the maintenance and renovation of this classical building so there was no compromise.

Good overall (solo traveller)
I was in a single room and it was actually bigger than I expected, though the bathroom was a bit of a squeeze. The bed was comfortable and the temperature control was excellent. The only downside really was a bit of road noise throughout the night (thin windows I guess), a bathroom blind that wouldn't close (sorry for the view neighbours) and the TV counting down and switching itself off every 4 minutes for some reason. Comfortable enough for a few nights.

Great hotel in South Kensington. Few minutes walk from SK tube station. Hotel is located on a quiet street with close access to shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Modern hotel with well equipped rooms and very friendly and helpful staff.
