I was staying here 6 years ago and at that time the hotel was old and need to be renovated, so 6 years forward nothing have happen except it is still in badly need of renovation. However, location is great and the service is friendly and professional.

We stayed there for four nights. It was a great location. The area around the hotel was nice. There was a lot of construction that made it a little bit difficult but overall was great. The service and the hotel was great. Everybody spoke perfect English. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The room was very comfortable Bed was very comfortable. The kids love the pool and overall I highly recommended if you’re in Hamburg to stay in the hotel, specially with family.

We’ve had an amazing stay at Le Méridien. We were welcomed by a professional yet very friendly frontdesk and given the keys to our room 3 hours before normal check-in. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view overlooking the Alster Lake. The breakfast buffet is so good - and so is the Heritage Restaurant for a night ‘in’. Located on the 9th floor, the view is even better. The entire staff has been very friendly to us and our 3 y/o. Kids being allowed in the pool (family-time 8am-6pm) was part of the reason we chose the hotel and it’s been the best stay. We’re definately staying there again if we’re coming back to Hamburg.

Great place!
Hotel and staff were wonderful. It’s in very good shape and the room service menu was great and reasonable price. Only negatives: the bathroom door is all glass and on a track that makes quite a bit of noise and lets all the bathroom light into the bedroom. So if someone uses the bathroom at night - we woke each other up a bunch. Had an issue with a subpar meal from room service but the hotel manager graciously comped it and treated us to a breakfast. All class and deeply appreciated Would definitely stay here again.

We had my wife’s Ipad mini stolen from our room in the evening of our second day. Very stressful! Hotel staff were not too helpful. Called the police next morning to investigate and create a report The hotel has next to no security which is not acceptable these days. Completely ruined our stay in Hamburg!!!
