Mantra Hindmarsh Square is a great inner city hotel, close to Rundle Mall and some great restaurants. As the name suggests it overlooks the square, which is very nice.

Wasn’t at all impressed with the this Mantra hotel, our first room WiFi wouldn’t connect, the staff were helpful & promptly moved us to another room. Both rooms had a “ balcony “ but neither could be considered a balcony, essentially sliding door that opened onto a space hardly big enough to stand on.. The room was quite large but the bathroom was small & the actual shower was tiny. Room had cups, plates etc but we didn’t have a full set ie 1 small plate , 1 fork, 1 teaspoon etc ( there was too of us). For the price we paid don’t think the prop was up to standard

Website advertised there was a bar and restaurant onsite, serving breakfast lunch and dinner as well as 24/7 room service. This was not correct - breakfast was available but only prepared foods that could be reheated by staff. When I asked the manager about this he said it hadn’t been operational for two years and didn’t believe me when I said the details were still on their website.
