Stayed over for 3 nights, unusually hot weather for Ireland with highs of 29 degrees and no air con anywhere in hotel left it very unpleasant to eat, sleep or drink in anywhere in the building. Would have thought for 4 star hotel the bar and restaurant at least would have had air con. Also no cooked breakfast provided, why??? Stayed in hotels in Dublin over past month and all provided cooked breakfast only difference was you had to book a time slot the evening before with first come first choice. Again for over €200 per night I’d have expected a choice of breakfast. This will do nothing to help hotels encourage people to stay in Ireland for holidays.

    Ok

Brilliant location, staff extremely helpful and friendly, however for the cost of accommodation i was disappointed with the food, a more varied menu would be welcome, with the chance to experience fine dining while staying in the hotel, especially given current dining covid restrictions. Breakfast was a let down. Sausage rolls and wedges, with mediocre coffee. I would stay here again, but would ensure i had a booking for meals elsewhere

    Not happy

It was all about covid didn't clean room weren't allowed to have a cooked breakfast and bag with cold food left outside your room. No room to store our bag as are train was at 7.30 even though we had to leave our room that morning at 11 checkout. Music playing outside our room with people drinking on the river for my 3 night stay till 4 in the morning so couldn't sleep I called reception to ask them to calls garda to get them moved but never happened. Bar didn't open till 3 and closed at 9. If you were eating hot food in the bar you have to order a table but were only allowed stay for hour and a half. They could serve hot food after 3 so why not serve hot breakfast

    Nappy’s

The room we stayed in must have had a baby staying before our stay as when we went into the room it stank and had dirty nappies left in the room. Very disappointed.

    Covid19 review

It is difficult to review a hotel during Covid however when i went to my room the TV wasn't working. I contacted reception and was told to check and tighten the cable (which cabel). I ordered a Pizza to tge room and 2 beers no fault there it was good. The breakfast was a bag with a muffin a pot of porridge (use boiling water to eat) a bottle of juice and an apple. I appreciate rhe Covid restrictions but extra sugar in the bag would help as i had used all of mine. It is a hotel that needs better TV where a customer can cast to the hotel TV. This is a difficult review for me because of the restrictions the staff are under. But no sugar for a pot of tasteless porridge!
