When we got here there was no record that Expedia had followed through with our booking. The hotel did not have our reservation in their system even though we did have a confirmation from Expedia. Frustrating after a long day of travel!
The service was just right. I was surprised of how the Rivera was very cheap on the breakfast provided. Their reservation posted Breakfast as included. However, it turned to be a hoax and a fishing practice to lure customers with false advertisement. The breakfast provided was a small Granula bar and a water bottle. So cheap and demeaning way to attract customers with false promises of service. I would never stauy in the Rivera again.
It was good. Room was clean. Close to shopping and airport.
This is a good hotel. Clean room and friendly service, except for the wait time when you call. Nav and Faith(?) were very friendly and smiling as they did their jobs. Thanks.
Check in was quick, just had to wait for a line, but that's not so bad. The room was pretty clean when we got there too. The tub didn't switch between shower and tub mode. We ran out of toilet paper, put up the maid service hanger on the door at 8am. Came back, nothing. Called at 7pm to the front desk, they said they'd send someone. Nothing. Talked to them in person at 9pm. Same thing. Called at 11:30pm. They finally sent someone at 11:45 to drop off toilet paper. We had to go out and find a store with an open bathroom just to relieve ourselves. Other than that one major disappointment, the room was okay. If you don't plan on being in the room much, it's a good one.
It was ok. Cleanliness was ok. Free breakfast fast a kid's juice box and a nature Valley granola bar. Staff were friendly.
Receptionist was not friendly. No smile on the face, looks like she is tired and does not enjoying her job.
I don't think i would be back to this hotel. The facilities are ok. You get what you paid for but I think management should invest some money in training their staff at the front desk. They never amswer the phone and they have no idea in what hospitality is.
It is a very busy place. The front desk staff can sometimes be rude though, but the manager I met with has dealt with my issue very professionally (a big thumb up).
We had difficulties checking in and then the room we got had 2 double beds, they said 2 queens but were double and very uncomfortable. Also no Kleenex or trash liners. We were low on toilet paper in room and called for a roll and never received. There was some sketchy people out front as well and the police were there for quite awhile. We will definitely avoid this hotel in the future
