Clean and comfortable. Just missing the wow
Ok stay, nothing too great by St Regis standards. Lobby and reception of this hotel are grand, though understandably closed during these times. You’ll need to stay in your room for any services and rooms are a bit tired compared to other St Regis properties. Bit of a dated color scheme, room had small window (despite big arched windows depicted in what I booked) and awkward desk placement meant drapes didn’t close without moving furniture. Bathroom was clean, though also a bit dated in decor. On the plus side, the things you care most about are spot on - comfortable bed, linens and pillows, great shower pressure, quiet. Just an upgraded Marriott room however, nothing to wow. Street in front of hotel is now closed due to black lives matter protest site, so not the easiest arrival or departure options. Only told about this after booking. Prices should reflect some of these decreased services and inconveniences but not the case at all.

Nice but tired
The stay exceeded expectations but the property is showing its age. Was less than enthused with food and beverage options. Hotel bar seemed dirty and drinks were watered down, room service food was ok, eggs were runny and potatoes bland.

Worth it! Excellent service
I traveled with my husband for a planned get away for relaxation. The hotel staff and valet people were very friendly and accommodating. The concierge was very helpful in us getting tickets to the African American museum and monument. Something I wouldn’t have been able To do on my own. The room service came to clean up twice in a day which was great. Definitely would stay here again and to worth it!
