Paid on hotels.com beforehand. Then they charged me at check in full price again. ! I realised only after I had paid and they had to refund me. Be careful if you stay here !!!!!

Good experience, friendly staff. Warm and comfortable. Only complaint Saturday night from about 11 30pm to 01.30am, there was an argument going on in one of the bedrooms, shouting and door slamming every few seconds. Got louder and loude, doors slammed so hard everything vibrated in our bedroom.

As a 4 star hotel I expected more. The sofa bed which was made up for my teenage children were lumpy and they could feel the metal poles. We stayed in a budget hotel for 2 nights in Exeter and the beds were much better. We had dinner and the food was tadty but very oily. Breakfast was also not 4 star standard. We had breakfast at 8 and the scrambled eggs were dry, mushrooms oily and it looked like the food had already been sitting there for hours. Steam room was out of order, but sauna was good. Not worth the money.

Lovely hotel my room wasn’t the cleanest found a pair of socks behind the curtain. Bathroom needed better clean. Checking in took a long time due to the receptionist not finding the second room even though I told her the names numerous times. Had received an email about fast checking so I did what it told me but still had to wait about 15 mins for a key card and to make sure the rooms was ready this was at 3:30 when checking was at 2 so the room should have been done. Would restay due to the location but wouldn’t rush back

We enjoyed our stay here. We only stayed for one night, so can’t do a full commentary however, all the staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our dinner in the dining lounge. Lots of options. The room was clean and perfect for us a bit on the smaller side, but worked really well for our little family unit. Love the little single beds for our kids.
