Great break in Venice
Hotel is in a perfect position. Cleanliness of the hotel, breakfast and room comfort was great. We loved the little touches, biscuits, or macaroons in our room each afternoon and the chocolate on our pillow at night. Staff very knowledgeable, helpful and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay, thank you!

Noisy non lightproof room.
Well located near lots shops but I paid with noisy room overlooking a major walkway. Room could not be darkend . Bright lights outside and allmost seethrough drapes. Staff was great. Would not stay in that room again.

Your reservation is NOT GUARANTEED
I wish I could comment on the cleanliness of the room but unfortunately I can't and have to leave it to the terrible customer service and fraud that was committed by the management of this property. I paid for a GUARANTEED reservation. Upon arrival (1 day late, and yes I called Hotels.com customer service and informed them of the late arrival WEEKS in advance, and YES they called the hotel and informed them of the same which invariably lead to the fraud that was committed later), I was told that my reservation was RESOLD to someone else and that there were no vacancies and that I should go and look for another hotel somewhere else. This was in the middle of the night. I strongly advise future travelers to stay clear of this abomination of a property and book ANYWHERE else. I am in total shock and still don't believe this happened. In all the years (over 15 years) that I've booked hotels with Hotels.com - I've never encountered such terrible situation. And hotels.com customer service didn't help either, they just threw policy in my face and told me to take a hike. A Seinfeld episode comes to mind, they can TAKE a reservation but they can't KEEP a reservation. Shame on you!
