Front desk was curt
The hotel itself was fine. Great bed and room was comfortable, could use a bit more cleaning and updating. Front desk staff person( I assume a seasoned professional)could use sensitivity training for guests that arrive from a long travel(we drove 250 miles to visit a family member ill in the hospital). Also, 39.00 to park(guess that is cheap in Pittsburgh?). Staff at the restaurant pleasant, food just ok. Possibly open earlier for travelers that would like a meal before 5 PM? All in all, fine enough for our purposes.

The staff was very friendly, the pool was nice and the room was nice and clean. The only problem was a bathroom shelf was falling off the wall and couldn’t get hot water in the room at all. I have stayed in many different Doubletree hotels and I have to say this one definitely needs updating.

We loved the location, staff and valet were great...but this was not up to the Hilton Standard we selected this hotel for. Overall the property seemed really old, and not updated, and here are some of the negatives we picked out. 1. Pool was unheated and was inside, so this was like a freezing bath, who would actually use this? 2. Bathroom had no fan or ventilation 3. Room had a light flashing from the Co2/Smoke detector at night 4. Bedroom for suite had no privacy lock Do better Hilton for these prices. Jason

Great location to downtown. Walked from hotel to Market Square & all around downtown. Frint desk worker was very helpful. They upgraded us to a suite on the 18th floor. Beautiful views! The suite was very clean and spacious.
