3 night break
Hotel was in a great location. Although we couldn’t get into car park, we managed to get parked right outside free. The room was generous and the bathroom was huge. It was very clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We ate breakfast and on one occasion dinner. Food was good and dinner reasonably priced considering it was a Hotel. Again the staff were lovely and so helpful. The reason I didn’t give it a higher ranking was the pool area. I specifically booked the imperial because it had leisure facilities. Unfortunately it wasn’t up to scratch. Pool was clean enough and a good size. I wasn’t happy with steam room and sauna. Neither smelt particularly fresh. ( I was down around 10.00AM ). You can only use the changing rooms if you are a member. I went down with my swimsuit under my clothes, no problem. When you come out the pool there is a shower, but nowhere to put your dry clothes and no privacy to get dressed. Unacceptable and needs to be addressed. Only used once so very disappointed.
