Didn’t receive either benefits for being a VIP EXPEDIA Member, which is always disappointing.
Hotel in itself is good, has good pools and facilities, breakfast is also great with plenty of choice.
Waiters however forget that some guests do actually speak Spanish so being greeted for breakfast 15 mins before closing with a “joder, mismo a la ultima hora” was not music to my ears!
Overall most staff are good but service was poor, some lady by the pool next to us ordered a drink, waitress with poor English got it wrong and didn’t rectify, just allowed for guest to pay for incorrect drink after making her almost feel guilty arguing with her that she had ordered the drink she brought her! ASTOUNDED! Specially when cocktails in pool range between 13-19€ for house spirits!! That is not acceptable at all for a 5star!
One of the days I requested cleaning of the room via calling reception and also asked change sheets and towels as sheets hadn’t been changed in 4 days and they were visibly dirty. They simply didn’t turn up that day!
Overall the stay was good, facilities are good, but staff require training on how to deliver 5 star worthy treatment.
