If you are looking for a convenient place to stay near downtown and not break the bank I highly recommend staying here! It’s 2 blocks from a bus line that can take you downtown and a quarter mile walk to the subway line. Rooms were clean. Free breakfast which can save you a few bucks as well. I’d definitely stay here again!

The staff was very nice and helpful when explaining the key points of the hostile. This was my first time buying a hotel/hostile room for myself and it was very easy and fair for the price. We got an ENORMOUS vegan deep dish pizza before we came and luckily there’s a communal kitchen with massive commercial kitchen appliances and fridges. We also had a mini fridge in our room but it would not have been able to fit that massive pizza. If I were to complain about one thing it would be the blankets because they are thin but if you asked for an extra one they would probably give you one. Overall it was really enjoyable to stay here and we were genuinely excited to come back to the hostile after our day of activity’s.

This hostel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were impeccably clean, and so were the bathrooms. Breakfast is included, which is always a bonus. And my check-in and check-out experience was easy and quick. I definitely recommend this hostel as a more affordable option, especially compared to other hotels in the area. The zoo is also a 14 minute walk from there! 10/10

Pleasantly surprised!
Very, very nice property! Friendly service, friendly people. Not much noise. Great signage. The bed was super comfortable - if you like a waterbed, the bunk bed is the next best thing! Bathroom nice and clean, and cleanliness overall, super!

Great choice
Wonderful location in Lincoln Park neighborhood and economical. In addition to things like flip flops for shared bathroom/showers recommend bringing sheets if polyester is uncomfortable for you. Most of the staff are helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our week and walking to the nearby CTA train station. Only about ten minutes. Also short walks to restaurants and great entertainment like Galway Arms and Kingston Mines.

The area where this is located is really nice and walkable, with plenty of resturaunts and shops. The neighborhood is quaint and feels safe. We had one lf the premium rooms and the beds were comfortable. We felt safe there and the staff were helpful, but not like kiss-your-butt nice like at some big name chains, if that makes sense lol. I highly recommend!

Just enough style to get the job done right.
This hotel was neat, the eclectic patrons from all over the world and all ages was cool, different than I expected. The room was amazingly quiet and i loved it. The only down side was the water pressure in the shower, it was hot though, but it dribbled out of the shower head. Other than that it was nice and close to cool things like Lilly's Bar and Prost.

Lively stay in a fantastic neighborhood
Had a private room in a hostel so appreciated the mix of privacy and facilities. Always people coming and going, but quiet in my room. Location was the best part.

Nice for the price
The hostel was a good deal in a great neighborhood. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast offering was adequate, but nothing exceptional. It would be nice if coffee and tea was available later in the day, not just during breakfast. The rooms are clean and everything seems well maintained. It would be nice if there were benches or shelves in the shower areas to put your stuff on, who wants to put their stuff on the floor? A small trash can in the shower stalls would also be nice. The bunk beds are metal, and so hard to crawl in and out of, and those little bars are really hard on the feet. Ladders would be nice and don't take up a lot of room. And the upholstery throughout the lobby and dining area is pretty worn out. But having said all that I would stay here again if the price is right.
