Thanks for a great visit.
The hotel and its employees were wonderful. Great atmosphere. Food in the lounge/restaurant was very good. The room was spotless and comfortable... maybe a wee bit small.

Classy place
A very classy place. I would stay here again. There are very large b&w photos of old time movie stars on each floor in the hallways. This hotel has been here a very long time. Two things to be aware. No coffee maker or microwave in the room. There is a microwave off the lobby outside in the back of the hotel.

A good experience nearby Hollywood
The hotel is located in a good neighbor, a little bit too far from the most famous attractions in LA. The neighbor is a little unsafe to travel walking by yourself, but it has a good transport connection throughout all LA except the time to travel, as mentioned above. The hotel is clean, the reception is 24/7 available and it looks gorgeous from outside, a little bit old inside though but, in overall, a really good experience. I would recommend it if you would like starting your experience or focusing it on the northern part of LA, especially if you don't want to use Uber or Lyft. The neighbor is also covered by Waymo, which is a plus if you want to try it.

8/10 Very good

Overall very good though a bit noisy with bumps above head due to thin walls and ceiling maybe. One thing: they have a small outdoor parking lot, not locked, and charge $36 per day. The streets on either side of the lot have free parking and are just as safe though you need to observe the street sweeping signs. It was worth it to move my car in the morning. The street is literally a few steps from the hotel lot. $36 is unreasonable to charge for an unsecured outdoor parking lot. The hotel has old-school charm and beauty. Their bar, The Edmon, it beautiful art deco. Recommended hotel overall.

Good for the rate
A nice old building. Spacious room. The bathroom was very small. Expensive drinks in the adjoining Edmon Bar

My go-to hotel in LA. Charming, has character, reasonably priced, and great bar-restaurant, the Edmond, downstairs.

Hotel was clean and very pretty. We enjoyed our stay and location was good. The corner coffee shop was an added plus each morning. Parking was $18 per night which seemed a little high. Overall it was a good value.
