A nice hotel in a fantastic location.
The hotel was under refurbishment so from eight in the morning till six in the evening there was constant noise.Would have been nice if we had been made aware of the building work when we booked. The room was clean and very comfortable and staff were doing there best. The hotel is situated within a very short walk to the main centre and beeches and when finished will be a great place to stay.
The hotel is undergoing HEAVY renovations so don't get your hopes up for a nice stay. The room outlets didn't work, the Refrigerator, lights, microwave and phone... nothing turned on. For what I paid, me and my family should have stayed anywhere else.
I had to leave the property 2 days early due to COVID-19 with no refund given. The hotel was also under construction that was not mentioned when we booked. No pool, a pretty dumpy hotel, a bathroom door that didn't even latch. Not a good experience.
It was under construction, so all amenities were not available
Major works are being undertaken to the hotel.Bar is closed .Main foyer is screened off as it is a worksite. work ongoing from 8am to 6pm Heavy breakers being used Hotel should not be open to the public in this state
I’ve stayed here many times with good experience. This time however there was major construction taking place and it affected my experience. I’m sure when construction is done it’ll go back to being a great place to stay. The location is great to the central attractions and amenities.
This is a great location within walking distance of everything, including the beach. The hotel was undergoing a remodel while we were there, but it was quite at night, so the construction noise was not a problem. We will be back to see how the "new" hotel looks! All of the staff was very friendly!
Disaster! i can totally understand staying at a hotel that is going trough some renovation plan, but this is basically sleeping on a construction, do not understand how is even open to the public, No Lobby, no public areas, no room service, just an improvised breakfast room with restricted options. Cost of hotel night was not a bargain and seems unfair to pay that money for a place in this condition. The new hotel is going to be beautiful for sure, and the staff is definitely friendly and does the best they can to work under these conditions.
Hotel has a ton of potential, but the renovations were extensive. They really should be closed during this time or offering major discounted rates. I knew going in there were renovations, but didn’t realize there was going to be plastic tarps throughout the halls, makeshift walls, and a completely gutted courtyard that was literally concrete and beams. It looked like a construction site. If I didn’t pay $300 with taxes for the night I may have been more understanding.
