Disappointing
On arrival (mid October), I was advised that there was no restaurant service other than breakfast, and no bar. Room was clean and fresh, however I discovered a used towel on the radiator behind the Bathroom door. TV worked fine, but there was no remote. Bathroom fan worked well but was noisy, so may have upset neighbours, (electric) shower worked well, but was also quite noisy. It is clear that this is a seasonal hotel. And the season had ended, so few staff. Disappointing, as it could have been good I think if all the resources had been available.

Perfect place to stay instead of the busyness of Inverness. Got upgraded to a nice new room and it was clean, well designed and easy to access. The short walk across the bridge into town was perfect and there were a few nice restaurants to choose from (thank you to the front desk staff for recommendations!). Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our room was cozy and quiet. The beds were so very comfortable. The bathroom was lovely- except that we couldn’t figure out how to use the shower. Turns out the electrical switch was turned off and was out side the bathroom, out of reach above the door. We laughed and got on with it! I highly recommend this hotel- it was so very nice!

This was a great place to stay. When we first arrived the gentleman at the desk was very friendly and gave us an upgraded room and loads of information about the hotel and everything to do in the area. The room was spacious and clean and updated. The walls are very thin and be warned the room next door will hear everything! Even so it was a comfy place to stay. Breakfast was ok, but the female staff were rude and even huffed at me. Oh well… maybe they were having a bad day. The shops were great and had all the souvenirs I was looking for. They went above and beyond to help me pick out the perfect whisky. We loved the little gin distillery. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

This hotel was a great choice for driving around the highlands. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The town is cute and there are good dining options. I couldn't think of a better jumping off point for exploring the highlands and would definitely go back. The only negative that I would point out is that the walls are paper thin

It is a very old property. There were air fresheners (not refreshing ones) everywhere to cover up any smells. The room we were in had 0 water pressure; I couldn’t get the shampoo out of my hair it was such a trickle. The walls are paper thin too.

The staff was great, food was great. The Hotel is cute and nice. I went to make tea and my cup was dirty (the only issue….and I’m sure a small oversight). This may not be the hotel for someone with mobility issues as there are stairs for the rooms and restaurant. I am disabled and we got the furthest room up two sets of stairs. I would stay again just maybe mention to them I can’t do too many stairs.

Such a great property with a cottage-like vibe. The shopping onsite was fantastic and the restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. Restaurant (Cobbs) easily accommodated my GF/celiac diet. Definitely recommend staying here.
