Very nice all round
I had one of the refurbished deluxe rooms it was very nice. Lovely comfy bed, well equipped (the mini fridge came in useful) good WiFi and nice food in the bar. I like the ocean liner theme throughout the hotel. Nice stay and so close the everything. Free parking a huge bonus for a city centre hotel

Nothing finer than this Liner
A delightful stay ‘on board The Liner’. Warm welcome from Receptionist who was impeccably dressed. Nothing was too much bother and everything explained in full, without me asking.
Had Sunday lunch in restaurant which was fabulous and unbelievable value for money, especially as it was the last Sunday of the month so there was an added bonus of a ‘live’ singer 2-4pm. A marvellous voice, great choice of songs. Food was faultless and staff serving could give a 5* establishment a run for their money.
Our cabin was spotless.
Lovely choice for breakfast - staff had smiles wider than the Mersey. Appreciated first thing in the morning.
I really could not find fault with anything.
Yes, I could hear tannoy announcements from Lime Street railway station but one must expect that if one wants to stay so close to the station.
I would certainly stay here again.
Thank you to all staff who are doing a tremendous job.

Excellent comfy stay near to Lime street station
Booked into the liner after seeing other positive reviews on the internet.
A great location a stones through from Liverpool lime street train station.
Reception area, very clean and tidy with friendly staff. We arrived early so were able to drop our bags off in a secure store, where we then went out for a look around.
Excellent, efficient check-in.
We had an upgraded room with a separate lounge area, with sofa and another TV.
Sofa would provide another bed if needed.
Room was super clean, nice decoration and comfy.
Great bathroom with powerful shower.
Would certainly revisit

Good hotel near train station
I stayed for 1 night whilst visiting Liverpool. I booked this hotel as I was travelling as a family with 2 teenagers and they had family rooms which had 2 separate bedrooms. The hotel is directly next to the train station so you do hear a lot of noise from the announcements. The hotel is very nice a little dated in some areas but clean and they did provide a lovely buffet breakfast. However when we arrived at the hotel our room wasn't ready due to maintenance so we went out for the day. When we arrived back much later we were advised the bar wasn't open a decision that had apparently been made that morning but we weren't advised of this. This was very annoying as we had returned to the hotel to watch the football and got my boys to play pool. The main reason we booked this hotel. The communication wasn't great if we had known this week would have stayed out later and entertained ourselves somewhere else.

Excellent location
Great location near train station and comfortable clean room- The communal areas were clean and well maintained. We dined in the restaurant and the food was tasty and reasonably priced, the breakfast selection was excellent however we would have preferred a warm plate as food soon got cold. Overall an excellent stay

Free parking
Lovely hotel in centre of Liverpool near lime st station. Free parking absolute bonus. We stay here every time in Liverpool. Made the most of Happy Hour with the delicious cocktails in the hotel bar ( Castaway) while watching sky sports.
Its really close to the Empire theatre too.
There was a slight musty smell in the bathroom, but nothing too bad.
