This hotel was super convenient in proximity to shopping, restaurants, the pier, & the ocean! Only downside was the shower-head, which I would presume all hotels are conservative on water usage, however for anyone with a lot of hair, it is challenging to get shampoo & conditioner out from a rain head and not a normal shower-head. Overall it was still an excellent stay!

This was my first time staying at this hotel. It was truly amazing. The staff are fantastic! They made my birthday very special with their own creativity. I truly felt welcomed there when I arrived. They definitely surprised me. I absolutely loved their own personal birthday touches. The place was absolutely beautiful. I will definitely be staying here again. The room is beautiful and the ocean view is stunning. So relaxing.

Great stay!!
Here are the things I loved about Ocean View: Check in staff were very welcoming & friendly. Joy checked me in & she was lovely. All other interactions with housekeeping and valet were also great. Everyone was very nice. Valet parking entrance made parking easy. We didn’t have to worry about finding street parking. Location was fantastic for the event we attended. We found lots of great restaurants within easy driving and/or walking distance. Rooms were QUIET. We were here on Halloween night & it was loud outside but with the balcony door shut the room was peaceful. The bed was comfortable. Amenities went above & beyond. The room had a Nespresso machine, earplugs, squares of chocolate, sewing kit, shaving kit, body scrubbers, shower cap, dental kit, & pillow spray! Balcony had seating for two & lovely view overlooking the Santa Monica Pier & ocean. The hotel was very clean & had a lovely lobby aroma.

Okay - not fantastic.
We stayed for one night in September 2024. Up on 4th floor and there’s zero water pressure so don’t expect to be able to have a shower or fill the kettle. Hotel was noisy but had little to no atmosphere. Shame there isn’t a bar in the hotel to at least get some sort of vibe. Not the cheapest on the beach either so definitely shop around.

The property was beautiful and they had a lot of special extras for guests such as free sunglasses and so many extra toiletries in the room such as scrubbing shower sponge and sewing kit etc. Theresa signed us in and she has to be one of the nicest people I have ever met at a hotel. The location was good and easy to find, as we wanted to see the boardwalk. The lobby was nice and updated. The parking was okay. You had to go in and register, then go park. The room was okay. We booked a courtyard-facing room, but it really was an alley view, which was a bit disappointing. For the price of the room, I feel we overspent.

Location, clean and comfy
Very nice Hotel, friendly and helpful staff, nice room with plenty of fresh towels and nice linens on a comfortable mattress. The balcony was tricky to navigate due to size but a welcomed feature. The beach is across the street, a ten minute hike due to the stairs and depth of beach. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance. We would be happy to stay here again.
