We found out about the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art on the KU campus. It had a fascinating display of artwork from the 30's -40's from public schools around Kansas which received works of art to inspire young artists. It was incredible,

If you are visiting anyone at Fort Riley, DEFINITELY stay here in lieu of Junction City. This college town has quite a bit to do within walkable distances. The staff everywhere we went were so kind.

The Car Collection and Discovery Museum are very nice. Stacy's Heavenly Host Soul Food was delicious and not far from Manhattan.

My first hotel stay in a long while. Manhattan always seems disjoined with the roads. No easy access or direct route to where I want to go. Many times, there is some road closed due to repairs. I always enjoy the visit because of the people.

Manhattan is a great place. We are in town several times a year and stay in hotels all around. I know this is a college town, but there were no boundaries for the students so all guests had to suffer.

Great small-town feel with all the amenities. Classes ended the week before my meeting, so it was quiet and less crowded than I imagine it would be with classes in session.

I really like Manhattan I went to Kstate in the early 80's. Lots of improvement and big changes.
"And that's a good thing! The fact that they had a laundry bag, an actual closet with hangers, a safe, a fridge, a hairdryer, hair and body products available, AND curtains that close completely and were not just for decoration were incredible. It really felt like a timecapsule of a hotel from the mid-2000s or before were a hotel looked, felt, and operated like your temporary home. And the sheets weren't the polyester nightmare that so many other hotels insist on! I was able to temperature regulate instead of slowly steaming my skin all night. Fantastic staff, fantastic stay, highly, highly recommend!"
