"My husband and I stayed for the night to go to a nearby concert. The front desk staff were very helpful and we appreciated the discount for the restaurant in the hotel! They also offer free shuttle service to the concert venue!
The restaurant/bar was excellent as well; staff was friendly and very reasonable priced!"
"The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable for my one night stay. The guy at the desk was friendly and provided a quick check in process. Parking was not an issue. My mom and I felt safe on property. The outside of the building is not a great representation of the clean rooms, so don't let that scare you away!"
"This property was in such a great location for our needs. After checking-in, there were a number of restaurants within walking distance and a yummy ice cream shop just down the street. We had a gorgeous view of the Penobscot River and the Penobscot Narrows Bridge which is lit up at night.
We lucked out with being there for Bucksport's yearly festival. My kids loved the bouncy houses and shopping at the vendor's tents. We were able to walk right out of our room to see the fireworks that evening.
Side note: reviewers mention the outdated comforters, but you can ignore those comments. This is a historic hotel with a certain style. The bedspreads have large flowers, but they are not old."
