What a beautiful spot! We had a large, clean and private suite with access to the garden. Grocery store is around the corner and it is in a nice, quiet area.

6/10 Good

The room was nice. We had to request more towels and pillows because they only gave us enough for one person and there were two of us. The bed was really hard and uncomfortable. The front desk staff were nice and helpful.

It was a good location for us and in a very quiet area. We enjoyed sitting out in the patio area to decompress after long, exciting days touring Venice. I recommend the property.

10/10 Exceptional

We were very pleased with our stay and would recommend it to others. It is in a quiet residential area, yet a short walk to all the tourist areas. We enjoyed the courtyard, which is rare in Venice. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the room that had a loft. The staff was also very accommodating and friendly. A great place to stay while visiting Venice.

Overall great stay. From check in with a very nice lady, to the clean apartment. Would stay again

8/10 Very good

Our room was nice when we got to it. 2 flights of stairs with suitcases was not appealing but staff helped us on arrival and upon departure. Checking in at a different location than we were staying was a little inconvenient, but the staff was helpful by walking us to our accommodations and answering questions.

Room was very clean, but as it’s an old building, they had some ants. There’s a fridge, though, so you can store any food there. Beautiful room in a quiet and less busy part of town. A/C worked great (visited in June 2026). Staff at Ca D’Oro were helpful and even came over to help with wifi when it stopped working. There’s a beautiful restaurant nearby called Piera Alta. Would highly recommend.

8/10 Very good

The room was basic but clean. Disappointed with the shower as you had to hold it otherwise it just washed the wall. However the pressure was good and the water was lovely and hot. Disappointed that the complimentary bottled water was never replaced after arrival. Otherwise quite comfortable. Easy access to shops and restaurants all within walking distance

8/10 Very good

Very comfortable and relatively modern room for our family, and we loved the location - quiet but easy walks everywhere we wanted to see. Disappointed that we could not have the AC on (apparently not in season) and that we had to pay extra for coffee pod replenishments for the room (minor point, but annoying as this is the only place where we experienced this during our travels). Staff were helpful in coordinating water taxis. Overall very good option for Venice.
