Great location in Kona - walkling distance to Ali'a drive, restaurants, dive shops, etc. Safe area. Nice pool and hot tub. Breakfast included. Clean quiet room with slight extra charge for parking. Lovely staff. Would stay there again!

Clean and very comfortable. Really good breakfast. Very courteous and understanding staff. Two blocks from old town. Two negatives: Limited parking (but, still, $10/night nevertheless). (Very) slow elevator.

This is our second time staying here, and it's good. The staff was very personable, the breakfast was great -- sometimes short on seating, but that enabled us to sit with other couples and share vacation stories! Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. They do charge for parking, which should be information that we get upfront, not at check in! Hotels.com should not have junk fees!

We had a great experience at the Holiday Inn. The staff were very wonderful & super helpful as this was our 1st time coming to Hawaii they gave us some good insights & always had a smile they were very accommodating to our needs. The hotel is centrally located (walking distance) to the beach, pier, restaurants & stores. Breakfast wasn't bad as they had many options however everything is boiled as they do not seem to have a kitchen but again lots of choices which was nice. I would recommend staying here and if you want to see additional beautiful beaches rent a car it's well worth it and the staff will tell you where to go along with giving you a map! See you again Hilton Aloha

We always chose Holiday Inn whenever possible during travels. This was a great surprise to find Holiday Inn on Big Island. Great location. Even though it’s not directly on a beach, it was just 10 minutes walk. In fact all shops and restaurants were on the same street along the ocean side and it was 10 minutes away. Rooms were always clean and the property was well kept. Complimentary breakfast is a huge plus. Every morning there were eggs, bacon or sausages, juices, coffees, pancakes, toasts, muffins, yogurts, cereals and more. It was always a great meal before we explored the island every day.You will not be disappointed in the location and price. In fact it was 15 minutes from the airport. The famous luau at the King’s resort is also 10 minutes walk, so drink as much as you want since no driving is needed. We love being out and exploring, had a rental for all our travels. We were so appreciative of the stuff to let us store our suitcases downstairs after later checkout because our flight was later in the evening. We spent our last hours on the beach and walking around the area while waiting for our time to leave. We were offered a shower and fresh towels before we left at the pool area, which was great after the last minutes at the beach before the flight. Highly recommend this location!

Construction of 1st floor, no laundry available, no acess to elevator near pir room, limited parking, room cleaning was make the beds, never even opened coffee maker to see that a pod had been used. Pool not use able, very dirty.

This was our 3rd stay at your hotel. We were very disappointed that we were not informed about the remodeling of your hotel. I’m sure it’ll be wonderful once it is completed however we were quite surprised that things we were accustomed to being able to use and access weren’t available. Our room wasn’t ready and we were offered another BUT at a higher price. Since we were missing out on things we were paying for it was disappointing that we couldn’t get another room for less. The staff is always very friendly and helpful and very welcoming. I’m very sad to give a disappointing experience review this time.
