Well I paid for a high floor and ocean view and I didn’t get it. It was a partial ocean view at that. So save yourself the extra $130 that I wasted.
Everything was exceptional during our stay however due to Covid19 there really was nothing open but not the Hotels fault! Exceptional stay super accommodating and nice staff
Stayed at the Hyatt while we were preparing to bring daughter home do to University closing. Corporate and Staff handled Coronavirus poorly. Closed all amenities but still charged $50 a day Amenities Charge. Limited Food options were available (understandable) but prices were extremely high while portions were very small. Check out was 11:00 and Housekeeping arrived at 7:15 am to clean the room. Just felt like we were a bother rather than a guest. Coronavirus has set restrictions all over but felt as though Hyatt Regency took advantage of the situation.
We loved our stay! This is our go to hotel when we come to Oahu. It’s clean, the staff are amazing and it’s right across from beach. The location makes is easy to get around everything in Waikiki. Would definitely recommended it to my friends and families!
Hyatt's definition of "Ocean View" is a scam. We booked at this location largely because we wanted a good view of the beach. When we arrived at our room we had a city view with a tiny corner of ocean visible only from an angle; it would be a stretch to describe it as "partial ocean view". We ended up paying more to switch to a room defined as "Ocean Front". Other than the misleading marketing, the hotel itself was nice, although the downstairs is pretty much just a mall. The pool facility is great though and the location is fabulous.
The hotel property is nice with great shopping but the hotel room is tired and not worth the price.
The rooms were so clean, large and updated. Plus, you are one of the few hotels with queen beds! The pool area was great as well as access to towels and beach chairs. Thank you for your hospitality!
A horrible experience. I was charged $545 for one night and I did not check in until 9 PM! There was a baby up until 3 AM next to me and the walls are paper thin You can hear normal conversations in all the rooms. Construction started at 6 AM sharp on the building behind the hotel Diamond tower. The restaurants in the hotel are extremely over priced. $65 for the adult Buffett and breakfast buffet was $40!
We had a great stay! This hotel had an amazing view! The only complaint would be the frequency of towel replacement. We didn’t get fresh towels until 3 or 4 nights into our stay. Other than that, no complaints!
Amenities offered. Loved the water bottles, beach bag and beach chairs!
