Great beach spot for restaurants
The lobby service was exceptional. The only subpar service was when we ordered drinks from the roof bar, and that could have been because it was close to closing time. But everyone we encountered at the front desk, breakfast, and lobby bar was friendly and helpful. We paid extra to get a beach view room but got a room on the 1st floor right over the tin roof of the restaurant. It rained hard both nights and that made it the loudest hotel room I’d ever been in - I had to use earplugs the first night to get a couple hours’ sleep! Otherwise the room was adequate- tight but functional. The wood laminate floors made for easy transport of luggage but tracked in lots of dirt and sand so we had to wear our flip flops in the room the whole time.
Best features are location, access to beaches and amazing restaurants, shopping, the breakfast was excellent and the front desk staff gave the best recommendations for meals!
