This was a less busy area than other hot-spot areas in Venice, which was good. The water taxi was close by, so getting to the crowds was relatively easy. The hotel staff were absolutely wonderful, and the breakfast was beautifully prepared with lots of choices and made-to-order omelets upon request.

Matresses are on floor which was unexpected and hard to get up from but everything else was wonderful. The young man at the desk was extremely polite and helpful with checking in, suggestions and help getting around the island easily. I chose this hotel because I wanted something away from the touristy areas. It was a great decision. Not too far away but far enough that the area wasn’t overly crowded. The room was very quiet, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the staff were super nice and very accommodating. The breakfast buffet was super good. I looked forward to it every morning. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. When we ran out of toilet paper, they brought us more immediately. They were also very kind when we came back to pick up our suitcases and allowed us to use the restroom in the lobby, which was very helpful. The breakfast was also excellent. I especially appreciated that they prepare drinks such as coffee to order. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and really appreciated the warm and helpful service.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa W. We loved the location and design of the rooms. Breakfast was great with amazing cappuccinos in the morning. This hotel is fantastic! It has a great location in the San Polo section of Venice. There were numerous restaurants and shops nearby and it never felt as crowded as the core tourist areas in San Marco even though we stayed during peak season in August. The hotel was conveniently located not too far from the train station and key pick up spots for day trips/guided tours (~15 minute walk) and has canal access around the corner which was convenient for water taxi pick up and drop-off for folks using this transportation to and from the airport. The breakfast was solid and the staff were extremely friendly and very attentive. The room was reasonable size and cleaned everyday unless we indicted otherwise by preference. Overall a great experience after staying here for 7 nights, and I’d stay here again if ever back in Venice primarily because of the location and the friendly staff.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Casa W. After a long walk through Venice with our luggage, the cool, fresh-smelling hotel and warm welcome from the staff were exactly what we needed. The room was spacious and comfortable for our family of four, with great air conditioning and a beautiful canal view. The hotel was spotless, well-maintained, and in a fantastic location. The location of the hotel is set back in a quiet neighborhood with quick connections to the grande canal. 3 wonderful restaurants just a step away from the front door. I would highly recommend staying.
