It was a very quiet and clean hotel. Staffs were very kind. Room was not spacious like other hotels in Tokyo but clean. I wish you were equipped with a body lotion in the room. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay. I had enjoyed this hotel.

Room without a view
This hotel is better as a business hotel, rather than a vacation hotel in terms of amenities. Wi-fi, however, was terribly slow, and would not even allow you to write an email with attachments over 2 MB! Would be better if the hotel clearly indicated that standard rooms did not have a view -- while these had windows covered by nice sliding screens, the windows faced the wall of another building. In other hotels I've stayed in, the view was described, standard room or otherwise. If I had known this, I would not have booked this room type, or the hotel.

Beautiful hotel in a convenient location
Hotel is located close to transport and to several attractions. Property is very pleasingly landscaped and nicely maintained. Staff is very attentive and courteous. This is the only hotel I stayed at that offered guests masks free of charge as protection from Corona. Breakfast was generously laid out and staff made a comforting rice porridge on request as I recovered from a bad cold. They also noticed that the second day of my stay was my birthday and very kindly brought me sweets to wish me. Loved the personal touches and attention to detail in every aspect!

Beware smoking "run of the house" in Japan
Unfortunately I am not well traveled enough to know "run of the house" meant random room assigned by hotel. I thought it just meant a room type. It may have been ok in countries that don't allow smoking in any rooms, so any "run of the house" would at least meet our minimum requirement of non smoking. In Japan, random will include smoking rooms as well and we were assigned one, so because of just that, our entire stay was ruined, cant sleep well at all. Even venting a room won't help eliminate the smoke stench.
