Nothing fancy, very good experience,
Location is great! The bathroom was fully renovated, the bedroom floor doesn’t have tile or carpet, it’s just concrete that doesn’t look pretty but it’s clean! Service was good! The place matches the price I paid and It was very good.

My husband and I stayed for 4 days over the Christmas holiday and we thought that the location was great. It’s within walking distance to the 1,R,W,4 & 5 subway stations. The room was large for New York standards and there was a little outdoor balcony attached but didn’t get to use due to the weather. There was a good size fridge in the room which came in handy for storing bottles of wine and food. The cost of our stay was very affordable for being in the city. You can only enter the hotel via key card and there was always someone manning the front desk. The front desk guys were very helpful and courteous when we checked in and throughout our stay. The only negative thing we experienced during our stay was the strong smell of weed on our floor that seeped into our room nightly and late night loud noises (door slamming/talking) from other guests. Would stay again.

waste of great potential
wanted to love this hotel. It’s in a great location and comes at a budget-friendly price, so I thought I’d found a hidden gem. Unfortunately room itself was shocking. The noise from outside and the hallway was unbearable—so loud it felt like the walls were paper-thin. Even with earplugs, I couldn’t sleep, not even after 3 a.m. room had a strange vibe. poorly maintained, with missing or broken appliances, damaged fixtures like loose doorknobs, and curtains that were practically useless. weird smell. cold, bare concrete floors. Frankly, it reminded me of the kind of place a divorced dad stays when they’re out of options—grim and depressing. the so-called “secure” bag storage was just a stairwell where anyone could walk in and take your belongings. No staff were around to monitor it, making the whole setup feel careless and unsafe. During checkout, the staff asked if I could leave a review “right now.” It felt incredibly tacky and forced, especially after such a disappointing stay. This hotel has so much potential, but it’s squandered by a lack of care and attention to detail. I wouldn’t stay here again, even for the low price. If you’re looking for rest and relaxation, look elsewhere.
