Room was clean. The breakfast was very poor and not for a whole hotel of people. Coffee was empty from both carafes. My wife asked about the waffle mix since the machine was taken apart. The woman replied its 8:40 and breakfast ends at 9 so it's done already. So if you want a waffle get there early. Probably wouldn't stay again

The hotel is pretty run-down, although the room itself seemed properly cleaned. The room had very poor noise insulation so it was very loud — I could hear the noise of coughing hotel guests, a barking dog in one of the rooms, and a lot of street noise of people yelling. Thus, is it was hard to sleep. The shuttle driver was very nice and it is a fairly short drive to JFK airport. The price of the stay was too much for the quality of accommodations, but I made the reservation last-minute and didn’t have much choice. If you want a quieter room and nicer accommodations I would go elsewhere.

The staff was helpful and efficient. Just know that the place is really run down and has been shoddily maintained. Our bathroom had lots of caulking to hold things together that shouldn’t be held together by caulk. The area is very noisy and we had loud conversations just outside and below our second story window. Not to mention the smell of marijuana wafting in even through closed windows. The bed was comfortable enough, and the bedding was a very nice. The breakfast area is incredibly small. If you just need a one night to get to JFK in the morning, this will do.

The one highlight was the free shuttle to the JFK AirTrain, which is quick and convenient. Overall, I would only stay here again if absolutely necessary. There are clear areas where maintenance and overall standards need improvement.
