I stayed at Saylu for about a month and would recommend it highly to anyone seeking a clean safe place to stay without paying high prices. The people and restaurant are excellent. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The only problem I had with my reservation is that I prepaid for my last night on Travelocity and neither my credit card company nor Hotel Saylu had any record of this so I had to pay again. This is not the Hotel’s fault - clearly it is due to the fact that Travelocity did not process my payment on time.

Confortable hotel in a good location
A quick check in. The room was comfortable and clean but a bit dated. The breakfast and dinner were both very nice. The hotel is also in a great location and has free parking

We were extremely pleased with our choice of Hotel Saylu. We didn't want to drive around Granada so it was great to be able to park the car and forget about it for a few days. The bus stop into the centre was only a few minutes walk and they ran quite frequently. There was a cafe/restaurant in the hotel which served a menu del dia, so after an exhausting day of sightseeing you didn't have far to go for your meal and it was very reasonably priced.

Excellent
Takes about half an hour to walk into town. Try and get a back room, nice and cool at night. Great place to stay to visit Granada as long as you don't mind a walk. Would definitely stay again

Hard to initially find the property. Hotel markers stop at an intersection and donot include details to continue to end of road then turn left. (End of road has do not enter traffic symbol)
Toilet didn’t flush, they fixed it immediately.
Fixed sink drain plug at same time.
Boot print on ceiling.
Outside parking free, underground parking paid.
Location itself was good to get to Al Hambra.
Good food nearby at both Los Diamantes and Mario’s Guerra.

Perfect if you have a car
I’ve stayed here 4 times in last 2 years and it’s always been good! It’s a bus ride away from centre but it’s a perfect location if you have a car.

Short stay near Alhambra
Great value for money. Though we were given 2 single beds as a couple, one of which was broken so creaked every time you moved. Nice spacious room though and quiet, close to the shopping centre and a short drive to Alhambra. Nice for the price you pay.

Cheap option
The room was old with a broken hair dryer and uncomfortable bed, but the price and location were good.

Decent, but dated hotel
We stayed at this hotel during the busy week of Easter in Granada. The hotel was a bit worn down and dated. It's also further out from the city, but there was a bus stop very nearby that takes you into the city center quite easily. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have a breakfast buffet which was basic, but convenient if you didn't want to go seek out food. Overall the hotel suited our needs and worked for us for our trip so we don't have any major complaints. If we were to return to Granada in the future, we would likely look for another hotel though as this one more dated than we like.

Air conditioner didn't work. It was just a fan blowing around hot air. Informed the front desk and they switched our rooms for us. Second room was not much better. Air conditioner barely worked. It made it almost impossible to get a decent night's sleep. There was a hole in the ceiling and water was dripping onto the floor. Pay the extra money and stay somewhere else.

Nice Hotel - No Beer Machine
A very nice little hotel with very friendly staff.
It is about a ten minute bus ride from central Granada and the buses are about every ten minutes.
The only problem I had was that I got back late one night and fancied a beer. The bar was closed and they could not sell me a beer to take away.
There are no shops close by and and there was no machine. Seems like a small point, but I was taken by surprise.
Apart from that, I'd recommend this place.
Very good value for money.

Fine for a night
Very easy to find as it is right off the freeway. Also, it is half a block from a mall so finding something to eat was quick and convenient. But it is pretty far from town. The bus was very convenient as it is a 20 minute right to the middle of town right to the cathedral with another to the Alhambra. The room was big, just not polished, but we were just sleeping there so. . . The staff was friendly and helpful and they had parking and it was very affordable.
