Powder Mt.
The place was in need of lots of upkeep. Built in the 80’s, not updated since. Very clean, staff very nice. Beautiful views.

Beautiful but not family friendly after 5pm
There are a lot of rules. When the office closes then everything is closed for the night such as the pool and all activities. The office opens at 9am and the latest is 8 but the pool closes 15 mins before hand so on the week days the pool and all activities close around 5pm

Clean. Beautiful area. Good price. A little older. Access to pool and clubhouse very limited to “office hours” so not available in the evenings. Added “resort fee” was not obvious when booking.

The best part about the stay was the staff. They helped so much with letting us know about hikes and interesting sites in the area. Thank you for your service. It was a great visit.

We stayed 2 nights for a wedding nearby. We brought in food to cook and walked the paper airplane trail nearby. Room was in good condition.

Older facilities but worth it for the price
Overall this was a very nice stay, we will definitely be back again. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, the pool was great, my children enjoyed playing basketball as well. The downside is that the buildings are older and outdated. There were several broken windows on the buildings, not in the rooms but in the main entry ways into the buildings. We had to kill about 5-7 spiders in our room. The bed was pretty uncomfortable and could use a new mattress. Even with this, we plan to take another trip back. We had our own room and the kids had a separate room, there were two bathrooms and all the dishes we needed were in the kitchen. The property was quiet and peaceful but we went in mid June in-between seasons.

6/10 Good

This property is in an awesome location with great views and surroundings. The club house and pool were great and in good shape the employees were very nice. Now to the rental condo, first they charged us $10 fee every night so for 2 nights it was an extra $20. This was a resort fee because we were under 4 nights. It is well worn everywhere, tables chairs etc.. The counters in the kitchen we dirty but the rest of the condo was clean. The outside needs a bit of repairs. Because this is a resort their are a lot of stipulations on all aspects of your stay, like on check-out you must take your garbage out, put the towels in the tub etc or you will incure extra charges. If you are good with just ok and want a great place in the mountains to stay for skiing, hiking or mountain biking. Then this could be a place for you.

Its at the top of the mountain so in winter be prepared and have a 4 wheel drive. It's not a new property but super clean, spacious and well maintained. If your fussy about the latest lodging this is not your cup of tea. Property manager was excellent and kept us updated during a heavy snow period. All said, great place to stay, good value and well worth the $$.
