Cute little room with a great balcony. The decor was very authentic. The only complaint would be the room temperature. Even with the air conditioner as low as it would go the room was too hot at night. To be fair, the weather was extremely hot when we visited. Everything else was great. When we had an issue with the sink stopper, maintenance replaced it right away. The staff was helpful with directions and recommendations for restaurants and sights.

The hotel’s location is fantastic, just a one-minute walk from the S.M. del Giglio vaporetto stop. If you prefer using the water buses to get to the hotel, it’s very convenient because you can easily reach the hotel with your luggage without having to climb any stairs. The hotel also has its own private dock on the canal side, so if you arrange a private water taxi, it can take you directly to the hotel. There is a beautiful historic building right in front of the hotel, and it’s a pleasure to sit across from it and enjoy a coffee. All the main attractions are within a 5–10 minute walk. The decoration is very authentic and beautiful. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Charming little hotel, clean and very well preserved. Location is great, close enough of Piazza San Marco, but away from the mobs, close to Piazza Giglia and in front of a beautiful basilica you can admire while having breakfast. There is a stop for the vaporetto a couple of blocks from the hotel so that was also very convenient. Breakfast was delicious. Last but not least the staff was very friendly, kind, and accommodating.

Property is very old. Bed was not comfortable at all---mattress way too firm. Nice hot shower. Good location close to shopping. Awesome staff. Helpful in getting us a water taxi to airport but it was really expensive. Hotel needs updating in the rooms. They all are decorated differently with an "old" look, but bedding, mattresses, etc all need to be replaced.

We loved our room incredible view of the statue. At first I wanted to have a view of the river but then I saw the statue and completely changed my mind! We got off the public boat transportation and stopped at the Giglio stop and walked about 100 ft and the hotel was right there! So easy and saved us a lot not getting a private taxi. Front desk attendant, Tony was wonderful so many great recommendations! We loved our stay super convenient to everything and breakfast was great!
