Great location near st marks basilica , we stay on the old side of the hotel, don’t mind in Europe staying in the old properties but I feel the entrance could had been a little more appealing to the eyes. The hotel is in a very good location in the San Marco area. Just a couple minutes walk to San Marco Square, and near many restaurants and shops. But ... When we arrived we were given keys to a room that was still occupied. We were then given an unoccupied room. Tha AC was a little loud at first but we adjusted settings to quiet it down. The shower was missing one of the doors needed to keep water from spraying out, so somewhat inconvenient for showering. Very good continental style breakfast with very helpful and friendly staff.

Location of this hotel is very convenient once you're in it. All worked well and suited us. You can see the room and everything if you go to youtube and search for karlmarkinternational and the hotel. Breakfast is a bit hectic and in a small room so you may have to wait in line to get a seat.
