The Village does what it says on the tin. It’s convenient if you are working locally on this side of Liverpool: just off the M62. Clean room, comfy bed, good food in the bar. Nice, friendly staff! Gym and pool if you have time.

Decent gym facility. Okay rooms. Food in the bar wasn’t bad. EV charging on site. My room faced the motorway and its busy all night. And the window blind clacks on a windy night. A curtain would be better.

We had an accessible room with a good bathroom, but a small double bed. The room was OK, but pretty drab in the ubiquitous grey paintworkand carpetting. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The parking was a bit expensive for a hotel carpark set in a business park. I wouldn't normally have expected to pay as a hotel guest on such a site. The bar and restaurant were very poor. Set up as a Sports Bar with loud, enormous TVs wherever you looked showing Darts when we went in to eat. The food was not great, but probably what I would expect in a Sports Bar, burgers wings etc. Having had the experience of this Hotel, I will avoid others in the chain in future. It was not a relaxing experience.

The rooms were clean although you could hear the motorway during the night at the back of the hotel as I was in room 302 Staff was very accommodating and friendly except the grumpy bloke at breakfast sitting on the Monday morning Breakfast was average to good…..the scrambled egg was not to my taste and looked off putting to start with and there was no option of fried eggs The warmers all the hot food was in made the hash browns soggy so on both mornings I did not have anything hot Bar closed at 10 o’clock on the Sunday night and I was asked to drink in reception and if I wanted anymore I could get room service but it was chargeable Like I say there was good and bad points but in general I enjoyed my stay Thanks Graeme

I liked the fact we had access to the pool, the actual room was a sauna thanks to the ridiculous heat and we unfortunately had the sun side so it was unbearable to be in it for too long. The shower was rotten really dirty and the plug was blocked with so much hair it was unreal.

The hotel staff and amenities were great, as was the room. The carpets in our room were stained but they were very clean, as was the rest of the very spacious family room and bathroom. The gym has a lot of equipment, and our daughter loved the large swimming pool. Whilst the parking that I was told would be free over the weekend actually had a small charge (£5), that leisure centre that I was told carried a fee (£5) was actually included in our room rate. So everything balanced out. Overall a lovely hotel within reach of anywhere you’d want to go. Highly recommend.

Arrived at 2pm but told check in wasn't till 3pm. By 5pm we was still waiting to check into our room. We had to keep chasing up our room to be told it wasn't ready as it hadn't been cleaned yet. Shower in the room wasn't the most powerful. It was one of those where you had to do a jog to get wet. The room was clean and bed comfy.
