The staff at the hotel were nice and flexible. The breakfast was decent. I liked that my room had both a microwave and a mini fridge, even if I did not end up using either of them. I know that I would have found it useful to have both in the room if I was staying for longer than just overnight, especially since I’ve been to hotels where it’s hard to find a microwave at all. However, the reason that my rating is relatively low is that I have never stayed at a hotel before where I had to pay extra for parking, and the parking situation was awful. Nobody said beforehand that the area around might be full of cars and that it would be impossible to park anywhere to even check in, as it is not possible to access the hotel parking without having checked in first. When I eventually called the hotel after circling around the area in my car and not finding any parking, I was told to temporarily park in the loading zone out front, and it was confusing because the area directly in front of it was coned off for some reason, so it wasn’t very intuitive to guess that it was a spot to park. Then when I went into the official parking area later, it was extraordinarily cramped to the point that cars had basically skipped every other space to park in because it was so fraught to try and park directly next to a car because it was just that tight with extremely narrow spaces and wide pillars. I am very small and I still had to squeeze to get out of my car door.
