Beautiful Hotel
This was our second stay at this wonderful hotel. The ease of checking in, the proximity to the train station and being in the heart of everything makes this our favorite place to stay when in Edinburgh.

Was just an overnight. The room wasn’t available at the checkin time, but was available not long after. One of the walls seemed paper thin, I could hear general conversations.

Directly opposite Waverley train station on a busy road but our room was really quiet. Lovely stylish room, free water and snacks, breakfast was really good, so convenient for walking to Fringe events. Would happily stay there again

A stay you’ll want to extend
The design elements of the hotel and the rooms were beautiful and fun. All the modern comforts you would want in the rooms, with a great restaurant and a gorgeous bar and lounge on the lobby level. Will definitely stay here when I’m back.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Indigo. Greg’s impromptu history lesson about the portraits was fun and informative. Breakfast was lovely, and the wait staff were very accommodating. The location was great, just across the street from Waverley Station, and close to the Royal Mile. We definitely will stay there again if we return to Edinburgh.

Excellent central location and easy to get to museums, restaurants and the old city without transportation. The staff is very friendly, attentive and cooperative to your needs. Very nice to have a good restaurant and lounge area in the hotel. The rooms for two people could have more closet and drawer space, as the closet really accommodates just one persons clothing items. Overall, it’s a fine place to stay.

Lovely hotel right across from the train station, centrally located which made getting around easy. The breakfast was first rate, the beds comfortable. The staff was lovely and helpful. We had a ton of luggage so being right across from the train station was a definite plus

Nice but very small
We stayed for one night. Checking in was easy and the room was nice but much smaller than expected. No space for luggage and you had to size step around the bed to move around
