Loved It!
My girlfriend and I had an amazing time! Everything was clean and up to par! Loved the little touches in the room such as the band names in the bathroom, and the hologram that popped up on the ceiling after turning on the main room light. Overall had a good time and the hotel was close to everything as well!

8/10 Very good

It was a nice property and I mostly enjoyed being there. The only issue I had was there was a bad smell in the first room they gave me, and there was that same smell in different parts of the hotel. The second room they gave me smelled fine, but there was a loud whir from near the sink at random times. However, the rest of the hotel is really nice. The bed is comfortable, shower's great, wifi decent, etc. And a lot of great restaurants around. I'd actually stay there again.

This was a chic and welcoming property for a competitive price. The beds had comfortable mattresses and fantastic pillows, which is a must for me. I am bedding picky and this was excellent. Also: wonderful, fluffy Turkish style bath towels and good soaps amenities. The location was convenient to the Powell St BART station and to Union Sq. The staff had good nearby food suggestions for us. I’d add that New Delhi Restaurant was delicious Indian food close nearby. The SFMoMa was also super close. And: at the end of each evening, we loved using the Games Room to unwind and play shuffleboard, pool, and hoops. I think that sealed the deal for my 5 stars. Otherwise: maybe next time I’d consider a hotel more in a residential neighborhood just to mix it up for a SF feel. Also, thanks to COVID, breakfast was not an option as far as I could tell. That is not so convenient at a hotel selected for its convenience to transit. We had things to go out and do each day. The lack of a quick breakfast and coffee was a minus. But all in all: sweet staff, good tourism location, helpful information, fantastic beds and showed situations, and—we loved unwinding in that Game Room. And all for an on par price. Thumbs up!

Good location. Funky style. Gameroom a hit w teen. Nice place to spread out. Staff sweet and helpful. Unfortunately cleanliness and condition of room could’ve been much better. The fabric couch in ro covered in dog hair and who knows what else should be replaced with leather or cleanable covering. Really gross. Coffee in am nice but wish there was also tea offerings. Wifi never worked for me entire stay was given number to call hotels IT dept who wanted to do some whole re set and need me to research and give them my IP address etx. I hung up. As a guest, I shouldn’t have to do that work or take that time. For my trouble I was returned 1 days “resort/amenity” fee. Still unclear what amenities that fee supposed to cover. It was a fun place to stay once but I won’t be returning.

4/10 Fair

The staff were courteous and friendly, but the entire hotel is poorly staffed in terms of numbers. My biggest complaint was the overall lack of things that matter when traveling. No coffee at 7am. No bar. No restaurant except for room service. No concierge to help with restaurant/bar recommendations. Dark hotel room facing another building, which would have been fine if the hotel was full (it wasn’t). I love this hotel chain and have had positive experiences in other cities (Chicago and Santa Monica),but will not be returning to this hotel.
