5/5 would recommend!
The rooms were sparkling clean and the staffs there are always delightful to help. The room is very minimalistic and has everything we need. The hotel is walking distance from Union Square, Chinatown, Pier 39 which is a plus point. The lounge area with the complimentary hot beverage machine and microwave was a definite plus and it is very cozy.

Nope.
The room we got did not match the pictures of the room we booked. There is NO privacy in the Skylounge room. No door on the bathroom/toilet, so don’t stay here if you’re traveling with someone and you might need to use the restroom. It’s barely 200 sq. Feet and you have to duck and crawl into bed. I have a broken ankle and my fiancé is 6’3”. Bed was a struggle. This is a good place to stay if you’re looking for a cheap option and you’re under 5’5” and you’re single with no friends. it was hilarious and a night we’ll never forget.

Pristine and Clean
The hotel itself is really great, although rooms are smaller and can get cramped when opening up suitcases and unpacking. Staff is top notch, the moving bed is fun, the shower relaxing, and cleaning is pristine. Only thing to take into consideration is that it is not in the best area and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it for families.

By BART, nice building, but left sick.
Booked a Sky Cabin room and saw the photos ahead of time so I knew what I was getting into. Being over six feet tall I didn't have any issues standing on the main floor of the cabin or ducking to get into the loft area. The room was clean, new or up-cycled fixtures, plenty of plugs, and enough lighting options. The bed and pillows were both firmer than I would like so I had issues getting comfortable and woke up with a stiff neck and shoulders. My only concern while in bed was accidentally putting my foot in the TV that was on the wall at the foot of the bed. Thankfully that didn't happen. Checking in was easy to do and understand until the creating a room key part. The blank keys are vertically stacked in a hole on the table with paper and no markings around it. The screen didn't indicate you needed to grab a blank, so that's something they could improve. Now the issue I had. Waking up I felt a little dizzy and light headed. I couldn't figure out why so I took my time getting around to leave. While walking to the elevators I started to feel worse but once I got into the elevator lobby area it was clear the culprit was the heavy marijuana smell. I rushed back to my room to vomit and then checked out as quick as I could. Apparently despite it being a non-smoking building they don't consider weed smoke to be the smoke, like some other places in San Francisco. Where I live, we also have legal weed, but you have to smoke it outside with everyone else. SF needs to catch up.
