Very. Nice -!accommodations large, pleasant environment
Stayed for 2 nights during the New Year Holiday and the experience was terrific. The room was very spacious, comparable to corner king room in other 4/5-star hotels in Shinjuku. Simple but stylish interior, big bath tub and branded toiletries from Miller Harris. Good value for money. A very impressive hotel.
The hotel is new and clean. Location is pretty central with a few subway lines nearby. The Japanese breakfast is really good. You need to pay slightly extra which is responsible with the quality that they provide. The only downside is my room is facing a highway and we can hear traffic noises which can be bothersome for some people.
Lovely hotel, great location close to the Emperor’s Palace gardens. Our room was a really good size & very comfortable. The only suggestion would be to request a room at the back of the hotel as our room overlooking the main road was noisy.
Fantastic hotel.
Great rooms and great service downside though is no room service and breakfast opens late at 7.30am.
Brand-new property located just a few meters from a major subway intersection. The rooms are amazing: spotless and well-appointed, truly huge for Tokyo standards. Very nice rooftop bar and lounge. Our stay was very comfortable, even if the front-facing rooms can be a little noisy due to highway traffic. As this property is still being finished, things such as room service were not yet available. One major downside: the gym is hardly a hotel gym. On weekdays it was only accessible in the evenings after 8:30pm, which to me is absolutely unacceptable. So, no gym.
My husband and I stayed for a week at the Kitano in October 2019 in a superior king room. The hotel is very attractive and stylish. The room was nicely appointed, though it seemed smaller than the 387 square feet it claimed. Breakfasts were excellent and hearty, but I would have appreciated more choices. Wifi was good. The hotel is located in an area of Tokyo dominated by government offices. There are convenience stores nearby, but restaurants and stores are at least a 10 minute walk away. The hotel restaurant has 2 Michelin stars and is priced accordingly for expense account dining. The concierge was very pleasant but did not have enough English to be helpful, and no one else spoke more than a few words of English.
Convenient location next to metro station. Room is spacious for tokyo standard, looks new and clean. I enjoyed the stay a lot. Mini bar was free (coke and beer). I find the mattress slightly too firm but that is just preference. Also, there could be a bit of traffic noise from the window. But nothing too major.
駅から近くて綺麗。 ケーキを頼んだが、部屋に入ったらそのまま置いてあって少し驚いた。
