Upon arrival we loved it. The staff, the room, the bar, everything was perfect. Unfortunately after day 1 our experience changed. We lost all electricity in our room. What's worse is no one resolved the issue. Thankfully we were staying with friends who allowed us to use their room but I cant imagine what we would have done if we didnt have that option. The staff and the bartender were our highlight but very disappointed in the accommodation especially since we booked the terrace suite. What we received wasnt worth the value especially since we couldn't use our room.

Location was optimal for the favorite sites of the city. The hotel is well maintained, the staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The water pressure on the shower was fantastic. We wish we could get that water pressure at home. It was like a fire hose! The robes and slippers were comfy. They made us feel special and treated us well. Highly recommend this place for all of the above.

I fall down and hurt my left arm elbow and hip in the bathtub while I’m shower, the elevator, room & restroom are too tiny but I guess that’s how much space they could utilize. The location was great, easy to access to anywhere, breakfast was ok. No hair dryer.

This was an exceptional property with one of the best views in Venice of St Marks Square. The rooms were beautifully decorated with modern bathrooms. The staff made sure it was always clean and provided a turn down service every day. There’s a beautiful lounge with a fireplace and cosy restaurant. It’s also walking distance to everything so it’s in the perfect location. Enjoyed the stay very much!

The location of the hotel is ideal, backing onto San Marcos. We paid for a view and it was great that have a view of the Basilica. The square is of course crowded and noisy but it is a vibrant and happy noise. The hotel itself is a bit dark and musty. The breakfast is consistent and good but doesn’t have eggs made to order, only scrambled eggs with bacon. Of course the espressos are amazing. The staff is professional and helpful. There are some steps to deal with in the hotel.

The location was excellent. We saw St. Mark’s right out our window. A short 2 minute walk to the grand canal. The hotel staff were pleasant and attentive. They were extremely helpful with our bags. There was not really a private dock at the hotel so 5 minutes of walking with bags once the water taxi dropped us off through the square. If you need water transport contact the hotel that can organize a closer drop off with luggage assistance. The restaurants and shopping near the hotel was excellent. There was a small amount of mildew on the tile grout in the bathroom that could be overlooked but it would be nice to not see that. Overall it is excellent and we would stay again.
