Shopping in Sentosa won't likely rival what downtown Singapore has to offer with its plethora of megamalls and districts dedicated to retail. Sentosa is far better known for being the place to come for fun, with attractions such as Resorts World Sentosa, Universal Studios, SEA Aquarium and its various beaches all pulling in the hoards rather than its modest supply of shops.
That said, the massive Vivo City is worth a visit if you’re heading to Sentosa as it lies at one of the main entrances to the island. There are also a few others that are well worth a visit.

Vivo City

- Shoppers
Whilst technically not on Sentosa, Vivo City is often associated with the island as it’s commonly used as a gateway to get there (the mall links Harbourfront MRT with the Skytrain to Sentosa just across the water). Vivo City is the largest mall in the whole of Singapore, so for shopping, you can expect every kind of outlet you could imagine, all under one roof.
Marketed as a ‘lifestyle centre’, Vivo City also boasts an enormous 15-screen cinema, a rooftop amphitheatre, a playground for children, art galleries and a never-ending list of fine restaurants and bars. A good idea is to head to Harbourfront MRT, get all of your shopping out of the way at the mall, then head to Sentosa Island via the Skytrain found towards the southern end of the shopping centre.

Quayside Isle

Quayside Isle is a modern development of swanky bars, restaurants and shops right by the water’s edge at Sentosa Cove. Although Quayside Isle has been turning heads more for its upscale dining options and lavish bars with panoramic marina views, this lifestyle centre has some decent shopping options too.
Most of the highlights here include food outlets such as Jasons The Gourmet Grocer for all your posh imported ingredients and The Straits Wine Company that does a good selection of whites, reds and champagne. Quayside Isle is at Sentosa Cove found on the eastern tip of the island and can be reached via the free shuttle bus that makes its way around daily.

Festive Walk at Resorts World Sentosa
- Food
- Shoppers
Considering that Resorts World Sentosa dominates Sentosa Island with its numerous attractions, dining options and hotels, it’s no surprise that it has its very own shopping mall too. Festive Walk at Resorts World Sentosa is probably the most comprehensive place to shop on the island, with a long list of high street fashion names mixed in with some less heard of local stores.
The mall is also home to Asia’s first ever Chihuly Gallery (specialising in fancy glass sculptures) alongside the world’s first Michael Graves Gallery (fine home decor). Girls will love the exclusive Victoria’s Secret outlet and there are plenty of other shops, restaurants and bars throughout the spacious and modern shopping complex for all tastes and budgets.

Rock Shop
- Shoppers
Resorts World Sentosa seems to have a bit of a thing for the Hard Rock Cafe Group. As well as housing their very own branch of the famous American rock cafe, not forgetting the huge five-star Hard Rock Hotel, they also boast a ‘Rock Shop’ downstairs.
As you might expect, the outlet contains a whole host of classic rock memorabilia, piles of branded t-shirts and all the usual tourist souvenirs with their famous logo printed on. A nice stop off if you want to complete your full Hard Rock experience whilst visiting Resorts World Sentosa.

Siloso Point
- Shoppers
You’ve stumbled across the beach on Sentosa but forgotten all your beachwear – what to do? Look no further than Siloso Point, of course, a one-stop-shop for all your flip flops, swimming shorts, bikinis and towels. In most popular coastal destinations around Southeast Asia, you'll find a million of these stores crammed onto every beachfront trying to pull you in.
Sentosa, however, is a little different, and Siloso Point is one of the few places in the area that specialises in these sorts of products. Even if you did remember your swimming suit, it’s worth a look for its decent range of beach games, toys for the kids and educational marine life items. You can find Siloso point in the middle of Siloso Beach, which can be reached via the free shuttle bus that runs around Sentosa daily.
