Great location to any theater
Never stayed in the theater district before. Location was amazing. Only complaint was the wait on elevators.

Forget eating there
Won’t stay again. Room is way more cramped than the photo shows. The shower is modern with open concept, so even though the water was hot, I was cold from the cool air coming in. Worst part was the restaurant. We waiting 15 minutes just for someone to come to our table to bring menus and over an hour after we ordered, we were still waiting. We unfortunately didn’t get breakfast because we couldn’t wait any longer.

Great older building
Walls were a little scuffed. Elevator situation was confusing (i ended up on the service elevator once and the lobby is on the 9th floor) but not rediculous for an older building.
A little loud. Lots of honking and sirons and something in the wall was clicking/banging. But location was great and older building with lots of charm.

Stay in Chicago
Loved the location (close to theaters, city and Christmas market. The trains were easily assessable. The room looked good but way too cold and it did not seem to change when I used the thermostat . The grab bar in the shower wobbled…I recently had cervical surgery and it made me very nervous. No one came to clean the room until I asked one of the cleaners in the elevator why it had not been cleaned in 3 days. She had someone come and clean it. Wish I had her name to give complements.

Weekend Stay
Hotel was comfortable. Keyed elevator. Staff was helpful and kind. Popcorn shop next door makes elevator smell like caramel corn. Bar was comfortable and lounge area. Close walk for the Christmas market.

Great place to stay in the loop area
Easy hotel to get to from the blue line from the airport. It’s in the theater district and within walking distance to everywhere. Staff is friendly. The Chicago map above the bed is actually pretty handy getting your bearing with all the high rises.

Not a 4-star hotel
Room was fairly small and a little dated although they had done some updates. The bar/restaurant was a joke; it was beyond slow, dirty, and the bar tender didn’t sit on people in the order they arrived. It took a significant amount of time to get an elevator up or down, so I don’t know if all of them were actually working.
