Lovely northern welcome and free parking

We arrived late but easily found the hotel and their free parking and reception was open and welcoming. Room 1 was bit hard to find: upstairs then down some stairs but it was a nicely decorated family room with a decent sized bathroom. Worked great for us. Breakfast was served quickly with a nice chat.

Great hotel in Jesmond with very friendly staff

Great hotel with a very warm welcome & nice single room. The room was clean & had everything needed for the night. The bar was a great addition & I really enjoyed having a drink & chatting to Laura from reception. The breakfast tasty & plentiful (even if a little early!) although perfect for when I returned from my run! The staff are very friendly & nothing is a problem for them. Iā€™d recommend this hotel & would stay again.

We will be back!

Laura was lovely when we checked in. We felt really welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel restaurant was clised that evening but we were directed to some eateries a few mjnutes walk away and had a lovely meal. Drinks from the hotel bar were very reasonably priced and we had a good breakfast in the morning. The lady who organised our breakfast and check out was also great. Overall, a lovely, welcoming hotel

Enjoyable stay apart from no lift (on 2nd floor) and room rather claustrophobic due to the excellent weather. Tasty breakfast, lovely Italian restaurant adjoining and fabulous Indian Restaurant (The 3 elephants) about a mile along Osborne Road. Very friendly and helpful staff
