8/10 Very good

Clean, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was on another level so not so good if you need to use the toilet during the night. When we went to the bar for a night cap we were refused service by the barman who said he had "finished serving" (it was 9.15)! There were still many people sitting at tables and as we left we could hear a cocktail shaker in use. Spoilt our last night. Reception staff were friendly, helpful and polite.

Lovely hotel in the middle of town
We had to stay overnight in Newcastle, midweek so found this hotel close to where we had to be. It is right in town and we walked from the railway station, about 10 mins away. The breakfast was brilliant, really good. Close to everything, the Quayside, station, shops, bars, restaurants. Great price. No complaints at all.

Girls weekend in Newcastle
We ended up in a disability access room (room 17) as they were full and we didn’t check in until 5pm although the room was booked in April. We felt the hanging space and bathroom weren’t great for us or anyone with a disability, small sink with no plug or shelf for toiletries and it was hard to fill the kettle. Left feedback with reception Overall nice room, good breakfast and pleasant staff. Noisy location on a Saturday night but that was expected.

6/10 Good

Noise ruined my stay
The Suite was big but in need of painting as it was shabby. Breakfast was good first morning but half hot half cold the second and service was poor due to lack of staff. I wouldn’t stay again as it was so noisy with church bells, seagulls, pigeons and revellers. The hotel looks nice though and staff were very friendly and helpful. Shame about the noise.
