The only charm was in the entryway
My husband and I stayed there the first weekend of Freshers week to drop off our daughter. The entrance of the hotel is grand but as soon as you enter the normal rooms it is very grim. The bod was ok and the pillows were awful. We went into the near bar for a drink and it smelled of fried fish, we had to get a rag to clean our own table. Definately will avoid on our next trip.

Good location with swimming pool. Had problem with TV but no maintenance to fix it till morning and no other room to move me too. Receptionist not very helpful all she offered was the managers phone number!! Thankfully a more experienced member of staff come to look at the problem and found me another room.
